This year marks a decade since All-Energy made Glasgow its home at the SEC, coinciding with the venue’s 40th anniversary. The 2025 edition, taking place on 14-15 May, will also align with Glasgow Climate Week, further solidifying the city’s reputation as a hub for sustainability and innovation.
Since relocating to Glasgow in 2015, All-Energy has continued to provide a vital platform for knowledge exchange, business development, and policy discussion in the clean energy sector. In 2024 the event broke all previous records and attracted total attendance of almost 12,000 from around the world, supporting local businesses, hospitality, and the wider economy while highlighting Scotland’s pioneering role in renewables.
“All-Energy has become a cherished event in Glasgow’s calendar, delivering significant economic and reputational benefits to the city” said Councillor Susan Aitken, Leader of Glasgow City Council. “Its alignment with our net-zero ambitions and Glasgow Climate Week underscores our shared commitment to a sustainable future. We are proud to continue hosting this world-class event, which showcases Glasgow’s leadership in renewable energy and low-carbon innovation.”
In a strategic move, the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce adjusted the timing of Glasgow Climate Week in 2024 to coincide with All-Energy, a decision that will be repeated in 2025. This collaboration amplifies the city’s commitment to sustainability and climate action, creating a powerful synergy between the two events.
“Glasgow has long been a supporter of All-Energy, recognising its immense value to the city’s economy and its role in advancing the global clean energy agenda” added Dr Stuart Patrick, Chief Executive of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. “The event fosters long-term collaborations and relationships that drive innovation and growth, creating lasting opportunities for the city.”
With its extensive exhibition, networking opportunities, and a packed conference programme, All-Energy plays a crucial role in shaping the future of clean energy. The event continues to attract high-profile industry leaders, government representatives, and businesses from across the supply chain, reinforcing Glasgow’s commitment to driving the transition to net zero.
