Chief Executive Kane Thornton said the Clean Energy Council is proud to partner with Monash Business School to offer the Your Leadership Voice – Women in Focus scholarship which includes a targeted skill development programme focusing on areas such as negotiation, public speaking, communication skills and leadership style. The programme is focused on supporting women from a diverse range of backgrounds, giving them the confidence to stand out in leadership roles.
“This scholarship is another addition to the industry’s ongoing Women in Renewables Initiative” said Mr Thornton. “The Your Leadership Voice programme from Monash Business School will support a new generation of leaders across a wide range of industries, getting us closer to addressing the gender gap within the renewable energy sector and, ultimately, driving innovation through increased diversity”.
Monash Business School’s Director of Leadership, Professor Anne Lytle added that the Your Leadership Voice – Women in Focus scholarship offers women a week-long intensive programme to enhance existing skills and become confident leaders.
Applications for the scholarship are now open and close on Sunday 18 November 2018. The successful applicant must commit to attending the week-long intensive version of the programme in Melbourne from 26-31 May 2019.
