Tony Jackson has now been recruited to head up business development for district heating at CPV and will lead the company’s on-going expansion of its pre-insulated pipe systems for district heating (DH) applications. Mr Jackson brings with him a wealth of experience acquired from working with some of the top executives in the business.
“We are really pleased that Tony has been able to join our team, especially as interest in our DH pipe systems has been at an all-time high” said Mark Whettall, CPV Ltd Managing Director. “This has definitely been helped by the government’s vocal support for the technology and its ability to help decarbonise the UK’s space heating and hot water supplies. Tony has worked on projects ranging from large-diameter, pre-insulated steel arterial systems, right down to smaller, flexible PEX pipe systems. With his background in civil engineering and project management of DH infrastructure projects, he has an exceptional understanding of the challenges faced when installing networks correctly and, most importantly, maintaining our exacting requirements for quality – as this has a significant effect on the security and life-expectancy of a network.”
Mr Jackson said that he is delighted to be working with CPV at such an exciting time when the district heating sector is finally gaining due recognition for the role it can play in lowering carbon emissions, alleviating fuel poverty and lowering costs for consumers. He added that he is really passionate about the industry and wants to see it succeed, move forward and gain market share from other forms of space heating, particularly gas and electric.
