Traffic on the website of Renewable Energy Magazine and its sister publications Energías Renovables and amERica reached a new high for the third consecutive month running in November, on reaching 81,779 unique visitors. This figure represents the number of individual readers (more specifically different IP addresses) that connect within a month. 3,909 unique visitors accessed our site on average each day. A year earlier, in November 2010 we attracted 59,009 unique visitors. The average duration of each visit was 3 minutes and 3 seconds.
The growth in traffic is due, among other factors, to the increasing contribution of international traffic generated by Renewable Energy Magazine, and amERica focusing on the American continent. Traffic was boosted further last May when readers were given access to the digital version of the print edition of Energías Renovables through the website.
Our growth has also been fuelled by our activity on social networks. We already have over 12,000 Twitter followers, while over 3,000 people follow us on Facebook. The number of subscribers receiving individual e-newsletters is also growing steadily each week. Energías Renovables sends out four different newsletters (wind, bioenergy, solar and renewables in general) each week. REM, which provides different content to Energías Renovables also sends out four weekly and fortnightly e-newsletters focusing on these areas, while amERica send out a weekly general e-newsletter in Spanish, plus another focusing specifically on Peru .
By country, the majority of our readers, in order of importance come from Spain, the US, Mexico, the UK, Argentina, Germany, Chile, India, France and Colombia. Energías Renovables, Renewable Energy Magazine and amERica provide the best overall content on renewable energy, in Spanish and English, with readers in 150 countries worldwide.

Traffic data are public and can be found on the OJD/Interactiva website (just click on the logo which is next to the Advertising link on our homepage). The number of unique visitors during the month of November is the highest since OJD/Interactiva started certifying our traffic. Data from other sources such as Google Analytics are even better.
