Using advanced property and energy data, the platform provides fast, data-driven insights into technologies such as solar panels, heat pumps and EV charging without the need for onsite surveys. Through the initiative, more than 1,000 EDF customers have received a free Low Carbon Report, helping them understand which low carbon upgrades could deliver the greatest benefits.
Across these businesses, 1,177 locations have been assessed, identifying £10 million in potential savings and 6,565 tonnes of carbon reductions. As the UK works toward its Net Zero targets, these insights are helping businesses improve efficiency, lower emissions and take practical steps toward cleaner energy.
“Small businesses sit at the heart of communities across Britain” said Claire Nutt, Director of Small Business at EDF. “Our purpose is to help electrify Britain, and a key part of this means giving local businesses the tools and insights they need to save cash and carbon, improve efficiency and contribute to a cleaner future for the communities they serve.”
Supporting EDF’s mission to electrify Britain, the reports also include recommendations for EV charging solutions, including options available through Pod (formerly Pod Point), a leading EV charging provider with over 250k installs completed across the UK. Acquired by EDF in 2025, Pod strengthens EDF’s ability to support customers with electrification solutions across homes, workplaces and business fleets.
“Our work with EDF Small Business is already demonstrating how powerful data-driven insights can be in helping businesses take practical action” said Jane Lucy, CEO of Perse Technology. “By clearly showing where the biggest opportunities lie to cut costs and carbon, we are helping organisations turn decarbonisation from a complex challenge into something achievable.”
The progress highlights the importance of collaboration and innovation in helping businesses move toward a more efficient, lower carbon future.
