The event, which will take place 9-11 March 2015, in Düsseldorf, Germany, will combine Energy Storage Europe, the 9th International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES 2015), the 2nd VDE Financial Dialogue Europe 2015, the 4th OTTI Power-to-Gas Conference, and the German Solar Alliance’s 6th Storage Day.
Together, these annual conferences will cover the widest topical range in the international energy storage market.
This event is organized by Messe Düsseldorf in cooperation with EUROSOLAR/Weltrat, WCRE, the Institute of the Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (VDE), OTTI e.V., and the Solar Alliance.
“Energy Storage Europe will provide attendees with three full days of learning, networking and deal-making," said Hans Werner Reinhard, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf. "Each conference will feature the latest news, policymaking and innovations from business and technology. Networking will be well facilitated, with all five events sharing the same break times and common meeting areas, while our networking dinner party will offer ample opportunities for further engagement with potential customers and partners.
"Further, more than 100 businesses, institutions and media companies will have exhibits on the show floor. Such a format is a new approach for this international event – and one that’s designed with business in mind,” Reinhard said.
While IRES will focus on more scientific topics, Energy Storage Europe will cover business-related and technological aspects. As part of this, the conference will provide an in-depth look at outstanding storage projects and explore their technical and economic aspects.
Financial Dialogue Europe will deal with the financing and bankability of storage solutions, while Storage Day has a special emphasis on tradespeople and technicians who work with storage solutions.
“Many visitors will be attracted by the opportunity to catch up on the technical, economic and political state of affairs by participating in discussions on the storage market at all levels. This is the first time that this is possible in one location over a few days,” said Prof. Dr. Eicke R. Weber, Chairman of Energy Storage Europe’s program committee.
