About 230 companies are participating in the event, including Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Hyundai Heavy Industry, and Posco Energy.
The companies are displaying cutting edge products, equipment, and other fruits of the researc and development efforts.
Among the exhibits are one called "the fourth generation energy" and another focusing on energy saving called "the fifth generation energy". Organizers said they anticipated the exhibits providing a vision for energy-related problems and to contribute to diffusing of the energy saving culture.
In addition to numerous sessions, KOTRA and the Korean Trade Association are hosting a B2B market place and offering export consulting for interested companies.
