The solar plant is 40 miles southwest of Bristol. ET solar has acquired the project rights from a local developer and is acting as the full EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) service provider for the plant. It is expected to be grid connected in March, accredited with 1.6 Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) under the Renewables Obligation scheme (RO).
“This UK market entry represents a significant achievement for our system business” said Mr. Dennis She, President and CEO of ET Solar. “With our EPC execution and financing capabilities, we are well positioned to further grow our business in this new market.”
ET Solar has a target of 80MWp for 2014 and is in the process of acquiring another 8.4MWp project which will start in mid-March.
