The assets which sit atop the buildings of Barrett Steel in Shoreham, Finnebrogue Artisan in Finnebrogue and Lyreco in Telford (where the battery system is also located), represent the first step in Albion’s expansion plans for co-located solar PV and storage assets, which has taken their total deployment in renewable energy infrastructure to £100 million.
“We appointed Amberside Energy based on their strong technical ability and focus on managing assets to compliance with both contract and industry best practices” said Albion’s Investment Director Marco Yu. “The Amberside Group are an interesting set of companies, in managing our portfolio the Energy business will be supported by Amberside Accounting and Amberside Advisors who between them bring full-service financial advisory support as well as specialist bookkeeping and tax advice.”

Amberside are excited to deepen their relationship with Albion through this appointment and look forward to working in partnership to optimise the performance of these plants both operationally and financially.
