The Intersolar North America 2013 renewable energy show will take place July 9th to 11th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Anderson Power Products will be displaying their interconnectors at the show at booth#9128.
The company’s range of products includes the Solar SPEC Pak, the first multi-pin connector to meet PV industry requirements as set in UL 6703A according to the company. It is also now certified by European standard BS EN 50521 and has power handling capabilities of up to 1000 volts. The Solar SPEC Pak is designed for wire to wire and wire to panel applications and is capable of handling up to 4 individual lines thereby reducing the number of traditional connectors needed in solar applications and minimizing the amount of space needed while reducing installation costs. Its shell has a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0 and a weatherability rating of F1 per UL 746C. The housing is touch safe when used with Fingerproof Powerpole housing and has a temperature range of -40° to 105°C (-40° to 221°F).
APP will also be showcasing its Saf-D-Grid connector system intended for use in the direct connection of DC electronic devices to a DC micro grid. The connector system is suitable for use in DC servers or any device connecting directly to renewable energy generators.
