A REC Global Program member since 2006, BayWa r.e. consistently wins substantial business in the residential and commercial segment for REC, and the Platinum Partnership marks the culmination of a tremendously successful 2013 for the alliance between the companies.
The Platinum Partnership is awarded to partners who make a significant investment in REC through a combination of revenue achievement, installer certification, joint planning and extensive training capabilities.
BayWa r.e. is REC’s longest standing partner, and already had Gold status prior to the recent announcement. The Platinum Partnership takes the long-term relationship between the companies to the next level. As a Platinum partner, BayWa r.e. will enjoy comprehensive marketing, sales and technical support through REC’s portfolio of partner services and tools.
This is not the first accolade that BayWa r.e. has earned from REC: the company is also REC’s 2013 Growth Partner of the Year, earning this award for managing to double its REC sales revenue year-on-year from 2012 to 2013. REC’s new Platinum Partner has finalized installations with REC solar panels in excess of 20 MW in 2013 alone, and is one of our top three distributors in Europe.
