The contract is worth around $325 million. This huge amount goes in line with the Swedish company's ambitious plans to produce 30 MW next year, and double such capacity each year until 2010.
The modules manufactured will end up in PV Enterprise Sweden's main markets, namely Germany, Spain and Italy, according to Mr Kristoffer Lind, Managing Director of the company. The Swedish firm recently announced a sale agreement with German EST-Energy, with an agreed amount of 6.5 MW through 2009, although the final figure could be higher.
