Energyra entered into bankruptcy proceedings in the District Court of North-Holland in April 2019, due to the delayed delivery of the production line in the company's then-new factory in Westknollendam.
The firm had plan to start volume production (100MW) at the new facility at the end of 2018.
The bankruptcy sale was commissioned by S.F. Coelingh Bennink of Visie Advocaten in Alkmarr, the Netherlands, in his capacity of curator as well as a leasing company of a complete Formula E solar panel production line.
Coelingh Bennink had been working to restart the company and at one point reportedly heard from 12 potential buyers, but a deal did not come to fruition.
Highlighted lots include a 2018 Automated back contact pv module assembly line (section 2); a Comau pick and place robot; a ;2018 Formula e Automated back contact pv module assembly line (section 1); and a 2018 Cetispv-iuct-1800 Formula e/halm Photovoltaic performance tester.
Also up for aucution are a SM Innotech double stack inverse laminator with hydraulic infeed and outfeed lifting tables; Leybold vacuum installation; various Ecoprogetti transport systems; Ecoprogetti production buffer & cooler; car frame and punch machine; complete fully automatic Ecoprogetti Junctionbox and soldering station assembly line (2018); Ecoprogetti sun simulator; HiPot power tester; EL tester; visual inspection station; labelling machine; transport angle assembly system; Comau sorting / binning robot etc..; Ecoprogetti MES production system; stock silicon cells; POE Encapsulant adhesive film; GZX Junction boxes; frames; frontside glass, etc.
The auction house advises there will be no forklift truck available during the collection day. The factory must be empty by February 21, 2020.
