Solar PV wholesaler DulasMHH are continuing with an ongoing UK launch of the NeoN solar PV module, developed by Korean PV manufacturer LG. A technical training event will be held in Plymouth on 16th April which will also provide essential technical product information on the Enphase microinverter system. The new module made its UK debut at Ecobuild in London on 6th March at an exclusive invitation-only event at the DulasMHH NeoN Café. The company is a wholesale provider offering a huge range of components and high quality solar PV equipment.
“Without doubt the LG NeoN will revolutionise the high performance end of the UK PV market” said Ian Draisey, DulasMHH Managing Director. “The introduction of a number of USPs sets the LG NeoN head and shoulders above comparable PV modules.”
The module’s USP’s include reduced system costs arising from a very high efficiency rate of between 17.1 to 18.3 percent, the generation of very stable energy yields by avoiding Light Induced Degradation (LID) and Potential Induced Degradation (PID) effects, provision of higher energy yields by double AR effect and the ability to generate substantial cost savings by convenient series string connection with an arrangement of 20 modules in 1 string being possible.
LG say they are continuing to drive PV technology forward and claim that they are currently way ahead of all other manufacturers in terms of the number of PV-related patents issued both in the EU and the US. The company is confident that the new module with the Enphase microinverter will be a key consideration among installers seeking to offer premium products to consumers looking to make the very best of their roof space.
“LG will continue to invest in the future of PV and remain committed to the UK market” said Sven Armbrecht, European Sales Manager for LG. “We are delighted to be working with DulasMHH on the launch of the LG NeoN module, and hope that the UK will embrace this technology and the step change it represents in cost effective high performance PV.”
LG is one of Korea’s leading manufacturers and are largely unaffected by on-going anti-dumping issues which have left so many Chinese manufacturers either increasing prices or failing to clarify availability of product for UK markets.
