Construction of the projects is expected to begin in late 2024, with the final projects to be built and connected by early 2025. The projects are all located in central Spain and will be able to generate enough energy to supply 51,380 households, as well as displacing 19,544 vehicle emissions per year.
Emeren is planning to develop and build battery energy storage systems (BESS) on the already permitted sites, representing a saving of 35,903.9 tons of CO2 per year. The company has an advanced-stage portfolio of over 300 MW of solar and 100 MWh of storage, with a 2024/2025 pipeline of over 4 GWs.
