Installer Tookit is a mobile app which helps solar installers to improve their overall business productivity by making installations faster and more efficient. Enphase has now enhanced the app so that installers can wirelessly connect to the Enphase Envoy Communications Gateway, which connects the system’s modules and microinverters to the company’s monitoring software.
Connecting to Enphase Envoy enables installers to quickly verify the system setup using the mobile app on their smart phone. The success of the installation is confirmed before the installer leaves the site, thereby enabling more efficient installations and saving labour costs without compromising quality. Enphase Envoy also enables installers to configure a Wi-Fi network for reporting, select a location-specific grid profile for the microinverters when necessary and view and email a summary report to confirm a successful installation.
