Fronius and BYD collaborate closely in the development of energy storage systems to create efficient battery storage solutions for both homes and businesses. All GEN24 Plus hybrid inverters are equipped as standard with battery connection, power management system, monitoring and open interfaces for, for example, water heaters, electric vehicle charging points or home automation in general. As of mid-2020, the Primo GEN24 Plus single-phase version with a power range of 3 to 6 kW and the three-phase Symo GEN24 Plus version of 6 to 10 kW will be available. BYD Battery-Box Premium storage systems are formed with individual storage modules according to the needs of each client, and can be combined with the GEN24 with 2 different designs.
Fronius GEN24 inverters guarantee energy safety thanks to PV Point, an integrated basic emergency supply for an emergency power plug. In addition, Multi Flow technology allows to provide current from the PV generator and the battery in case of power failure. In combination with the battery, the powerful three-phase version Symo GEN24 Plus provides a complete emergency supply3. In this way, larger three-phase consumers, such as heat pumps, can also be used, which translates into greater independence and flexibility.
