Toward that end, the company touted its central inverter product line during the show.
“We’re energized by the opportunities that exist in the U.S market and excited about the products we can bring to a growing U.S. customer base,” said Mariano Sanabria, Business Development Manager of Gamesa Electric. “The American renewable energy industry continues to grow. Innovations like the advanced technology that Gamesa Electric brings to market will ensure success.”
Central inverters are Gamesa Electric’s specialty. The company’s robust product line includes 100-kilowatt, 500-kilowatt and 630-kilowatt, and 1.0-megawatt and 1.25-megawatt inverters, and containerized plug-and-play solutions, remote monitoring systems and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
The company’s newest model, the water-cooled E-1 megawatt inverter is its most advanced development. Its water cooling technology is unique in the market, enabling it to operate to 120 degrees Fahrenheit without de-rating. The closed cooling circuit also eliminates dust that can enter an inverter through traditional air cooling methods, minimizing potential issues from dusty conditions.
