The Nomad 7 Plus has been engineered to be lighter and smarter than its predecessor and is equipped with a detachable kickstand for modularity and new electronics to ensure a more efficient charging procedure. The solar panel can also charge smartphones and other USB-powered devices in unpredictable environments without the aid of a battery.
Nomad 7 Plus incorporates a range of additional features, including a junction box with solar intensity indicator which serves as the ‘brains’ of the solar panel. A number of LED lights provide indication of how fast the device is charging. A dynamic auto restart feature tracks power flow history with the ability to automatically reconnect devices if they are disconnected due to environmental conditions. The modular kickstand, which is detachable, adopts the optimal angle for positioning towards the sun while also providing natural shade for keeping devices cool while charging.
