The company developing the solar park, vogt solar Ltd is part of the German company ib vogt GmbH which specializes in the development of large scale solar PV plants all around the world. The UK project will represent the company’s largest solar park in the country to date. Hanwha SolarOne has supplied solar panels to a number of ib vogt projects, including the 9.8MW Manston PV park in Kent, the 6.2 MW Langunnett PV park in Cornwall, a 5 MW PV park in Wellow on the Isle of Wight, and a 5 MW PV park in Oving, West Sussex.

Hanwha SolarOne delivered its first batch of HSL-60 modules in December 2013 and will complete the shipment in the first quarter of 2014. The modules are supported by a 12-year workmanship warranty and a 25-year linear performance warranty.
