The IBC PolySol ZX series of polycrystalline photovoltaic modules features an anti-reflective coating on the low-iron front glass, enabling the modules to capture even more light and thus are more efficient and produce optimum yields, the firm says
Continuous quality assurance and process audits – from production all the way to delivery to the customer – guarantee a particularly long service life of the modules with a maximum of output, efficiency and reliability.
All IBC PolySol ZX modules come with a 10-year product and 25-year performance warranty.
The aluminum hollow-chamber frame of the module can be clamped either on the short or long side. Thanks to these variable installation options, IBC PolySol ZX can also be combined with the flat roof mounting system IBC AeroFix. This way, it can be used in the broad field of commercial self-consumption, the company says.
In the commercial self-consumption model, the PV power generated is primarily used for internal consumption. This model implies financial benefits for the system operator: the proportion of PV power used for internal consumption does not have to be taken from the public grid.
Thus, the system operator does not have to buy this amount of the electricity from the energy provider. Rising electricity costs further increases the benefit of self-consumption. Small and medium-sized businesses in Germany currently pay between 15 and 19 ct/kWh, and the electricity price has risen continuously in recent years.
By contrast, entrepreneurs who start operating a PV system for self-consumption today, and implement efficient modules like the IBC PolySol ZX, can rest assured that they produce their own electricity for the next 25 years at consistently low prices, the firm says.
