M+W Group awarded international solar prize

International engineering and construction company M+W Group has been granted the ‘Solar Industry Award’ at the Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (PVSEC) in Valencia (Spain) this week. The prize was awarded to the M+W Group in the category ‘Turnkey Company of the Year’ by Solar PV Management magazine published in England.

Managing Director Harald Friedrich of M+W Germany received the prize on behalf of the M+W Group at an official prize-giving ceremony. The readers of the magazine had been able to study the documents submitted by the participating companies online over the previous two months before casting their vote for their favourites. A total of some 14,000 experts voted in this international competition, which involved submitting their personal business data to avoid abuse.

“We would like to thank all the experts from the international solar sector who have acknowledged our track record in this sector now spanning more than ten years by casting their vote in our favour,” said M+W Group CEO, Jürgen Wild. “This prize is a clear recognition that we have an international reputation as a partner for turnkey solutions.”
