Pleasant Valley Solar 1 includes a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that was secured through negotiation with Meta and Idaho Power. This agreement was facilitated by their collaborative efforts to create a unique Energy Services Agreement.

"We are thrilled to celebrate the commissioning of the Pleasant Valley Solar Project," said Cindy Tindell, Managing Director and Head of U.S. for Matrix Renewables. "This achievement underscores our commitment to expanding renewable energy infrastructure and contributing to local communities. We are grateful for the collaborative efforts of our partners, offtakers, financiers, and the supporting community who made this project possible."

Luigi Resta, President & CEO of rPlus Energies, added, “We are proud to see Pleasant Valley Solar come to life. We started developing this project in 2021 and it’s especially meaningful for us as Ada County is home to one of our two offices, allowing us to connect with the local community in a deeper way. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Idaho Power and Meta and further contributing to their energy future.”

Sundt Renewables, the chosen Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services provider, completed construction of the project on March 2nd. Throughout the construction phase, approximately 220 workers contributed to the substantial effort.

Matrix Renewables and rPlus Energies remain committed to fostering strong relationships with the Ada County community and continuing to support the local economy through the lifespan of the project.
