Distributor of photovoltaic solutions Menlo Electric and Jinko Solar are aiming to foster an increase in renewable energy projects through their strategic alliance. In the past three years, Menlo Electric has integrated 1GW of Jinko's photovoltaic modules. Now, with an ambitious target set, Menlo Electric aims to distribute another 1 GW in the next 12 months in Europe, the Middle East, and South Africa. Menlo Electric stands as the top distributor of JinkoSolar products in the MENA region, ranks among the top three in Europe, and is the second-leading distributor in South Africa.
The partnership is set against a backdrop of growing global demand for renewable energy solutions and is propelled by both companies' dedication to environmental sustainability and innovative energy solutions. JinkoSolar will ensure the delivery of high-performance solar modules to support Menlo Electric's extensive array of projects aimed at transforming energy infrastructures across several regions.
“This commitment not only aligns with our sustainability goals but also enables us to empower communities with reliable and efficient solar energy solutions” said Marcin Zienkiewicz, Head of Procurement and Trading at Menlo Electric.
The partnership also includes joint CSR initiatives under the Solar2Share Collective, through which the two companies have successfully built 15 solar stations at hospitals, schools, and kindergartens across 7 countries, with a cumulative power of over 400 kW.
