Rooftop solar power plants have gained in importance owing to the planned reductions in free field subsidies. The Colexon engineers have taken this into account in the development of the new TÜV certified COLEXON SYSTEM C+Z. “It was important for us to create a universal solution for mounting solar power plants, which can be optimally adjusted to the conditions of industrial and hall roofs. Thus, additional market potential opens up as solar power plants may also be installed on roofs which cannot support a heavy load“, explains Thorsten Preugschas, CEO of Colexon Energy AG.
The inclination angle of the COLEXON SYSTEM C+Z between 0° and 30° is determined prior to construction, depending on the installation. The elements of the system are adjusted on-site to the condition of the roof and are easy to assemble and disassemble. Special tools are unnecessary so the very light system (from 2.00 kg/per module) may be easily moved e.g. in case of roof repairs. The system is fixed by foil bonding and without any roof penetration. If necessary, the connection can also be reinforced with screws. The open construction allows an optimal air flow so no heat can accumulate below the modules.
Colexon has already successfully implemented the system for the solar power plants Belzig (980 kWp), Solog (400 kWp), and Glomm (100 kWp).
