Covering around 66 hectares, the solar farm will generate enough power to meet the needs of approximately 20,970 UK homes annually and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 27,950 tons of CO2 per year. The project demonstrates Green Switch Capital's dedication to sustainable energy solutions and environmental stewardship.
A Biodiversity Management Plan and Landscaping Plan will be implemented to establish grassland, hedgerows, woodland and other habitat enhancements. These will enhance the biodiversity of the site which previously had little ecological value, providing a protected area in which nature can thrive.

On August 21, 2024, Qair announced the acquisition of a significant majority share in Green Switch Capital (GSC), a UK–based renewable energy developer specialized in solar PV, battery storage (BESS) and onshore wind technologies.
GSC's pipeline of over 15 GW, with first projects to be commissioned in 2026, will add to Qair’s existing portfolio in the UK, which already includes offshore wind, energy from waste, and onshore renewable projects.
