The permit request was made by the Mexican company Rancho El Trece Solar PV. It states that the project will be built in mid-2015.
The facility will consist 137,952 solar photovoltaic modules with an individual peak capacity of 240 watts, the project developer says.
Once completed, it is expected to result in 76,279 tons of CO2 emission, avoid the cutting down of more than 300,000 trees, an will provide electricity to supply more than 34.000 homes thanks to the energy provided (71,02 GWh per year).
The Project is developed by the Company SDC Energreen Aljaval with some other developments in Chihuahua State which would be authorized in the next weeks by CRE. The company is founded jointly between the Mexican company Energreen and the Spanish company Aljaval.
Energreen is a Mexican company, belonging to the DESUS Group, that works in different areas as the energy sustainability, the light efficiency, development and construction of Biogas plants, or the development of PV projects over 100MW.
Aljaval is a Spanish company that has been developing wind, PV and biomass projects in several countries as Spain, Italy, South Africa, India or Chile. Now is strongly established in México, where jointly with strategic local partners is developing over 300 MW in on-ground and roof-top PV projects around the country.
