The new inverter solution consists of small and light-w2eight three-phase commercial inverters, sized at
24.75 kW and 33.3 kW for both low and medium voltage connection, P600 and P700 power optimizers, and a cloud-based, module-level monitoring platform. The company has maximised power harvesting from each module in order to enable longer strings, enhanced safety and lower operations and maintenance (O&M) costs. This in turn will enable the inverter solution to improve the lifetime value of commercial solar power systems.
“As a top global inverter company, SolarEdge is now launching its commercial inverter solution in the Japanese market” said Guy Sella, CEO, Founder, and Chairman of SolarEdge. “Identifying Japan as an important PV market, SolarEdge invested in developing the right products to meet the needs and regulation requirements of the Japanese market.”
Nobu Fukatsu, SolarEdge’s General Manager of Japan added that the company began ten years ago by introducing an innovative power optimiser but is now offering an optimised inverter solution which it is launching on the Japanese market.
Alongside the standard 12-year warranty, extendable to 25 years, the 25 year warranty for power optimisers and its module-level monitoring is free for the system lifetime. The company is also offering optional pre and post sales services to support the installation and help ensure lifetime profitability.
