The plant will be built on an 11.4 hectare area that was previously used for agriculture and is due to be finished and connected to the grid by the end of the year. It will generate enough electricity for approximately 1,330 four-person households and save around 3,200 tons of CO2 each year.
22,800 SOLON Blue 220/16 polycrystalline photovoltaic modules will be attached to a fixed mounting construction.
“We wanted the best possible quality and service. That’s why we decided to choose SOLON products,” said Andreas Renker, Managing Director of Green Energy 3000 GmbH, the company behind the project. “Through the use of high-quality system components, we expect an annual yield of around 5.3 million kWh.”
TNP Mitteldeutsche Anlagen Leasing from Leipzig (Germany) was responsible for the business management agreement and organized the financing through Deutsche Kreditbank. Green Energy 3000 GmbH is the general contractor.
