AES aims to develop the four solar projects in different locations across the US. The project is worth more than $30.7 million. The collaboration between the two companies reflects the steady growth in the global renewable energy sector, despite the covid-19 pandemic and the resulting economic slowdown.
Furthermore, with this agreement, Soltech Power Holdings is reinforcing its position in the US, where the company began its expansion in 2010 and where it is planning new projects to support the ongoing deployment of solar PV in the country's energy mix.
"We are very pleased for the successful completion of this agreement with AES, a first-class partner for Soltec Power Holdings with whom we share common objectives and values, based on the development and promotion of clean energy globally" said Raul Morales, Soltec Power Holdings' CEO. "It is a great honor for us that this company has trusted in the technology and experience of Soltec to carry out this set of projects that, without a doubt, will have an important influence on the renewable energy market in the United States.”
