The two companies will receive more than 105,500 high efficiency solar modules from Trina Solar. The modules are 270W monocrystalline DC05A.08 Honey M silicon solar PV modules which will be installed over various projects in the UK over the coming months to ensure the facilities are energised and accredited to meet the 31st March 2015 Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROC) deadline.
“Contracting with Trina Solar to supply their high-efficiency PV modules fits strategically with sPower's focus on solutions that are both environmentally and economically responsible” said Ryan Creamer, CEO of sPower.
Ben Hill, president for Trina Solar in Europe and Africa, added that the company was pleased at its selection by Camborne Capital and sPower and that its financial strength and sustainability credentials are critical elements in long-term investment decisions.
Declan Mackle, CEO of Camborne, said that after evaluating several PV module suppliers, the company decided to work with Trina Solar on the basis of its proven track record in solar projects and commitment to client service.
