The 231 MW facility will be built in Setouchi City, Okayama Prefecture, and will be managed by Setouchi Future Creations LLC. It will incorporate around 446,000 Trina Solar TSM-260PC05A high efficiency modules constructed on 260 hectares of land by Toyo Engineering. The site is a former salt field at Kinkai and the project is expected to reach commercial operations in the second quarter of 2019.
