LumaPort will be unveiled at RE+ Solar Energy Trade Show in Anaheim, California, taking place from 9th to 12th September at booth #G7 at the Grand Plaza. World4Solar is aiming to expand its portfolio to commercial solar power, opening new markets and opportunities for companies to use solar generated power and saving on utility bills.
As with previously released HelioWing residential solar system, LumaPort is a unified system that combines everything in a single unit: Inverters, EV chargers and 72 kWh batteries, along with LED lights that come integrated and pre-installed. This enables customers to produce store and distribute energy from the same, single system without clunky exterior boxes.
LumaPort is rather like a large-scale Lego set in that segments can be stacked up in a row until the intended space is covered in solar. The segments come in three different base sizes – from LumaPort 5 with 17 ft depth and 2.40kWp output, through LumaPort 7 at 22.3 ft depth and 3.20 kWp output, to the larger LumaPort 10 with 33.8 ft depth and 4.80 kWp output, which is expandable in 7 ft 6 inch increments.
World4Solar solutions use columns at the heart of the system to conceal all the electrical components and battery storage while supporting the solar panels above the intended location. These columns can be placed freely to suite the customers preferred parking layout with minimal restrictions due to wind resistance. More columns can be added to maximise energy storage and structural integrity or the customer can rely on fewer columns in order to minimise costs.
LumaPort is easy and quick to install and shortens the project planning process by erasing the custom design engineering that is required by other solar carrier systems. It is supported by a nationwide certified service and on-site installation supervision.
