The Spanish company is consolidating its supply chain in California to address its 'utility-scale' backlog in the demanding American and Canadian market. The strategy of the company has given priority to the US market, among others such as China and India where it already is advancing rapidly in similar strategic deals.
Currently, California's factory is launching the production of the dual-axis Titan Tracker models for solar photovoltaics. In the coming months, it will begin the production of the models for solar thermal (CSP), both Stirling and tower, which the company claims “offer benefits that far exceed current supply”.
The patented technology Titan Tracker is characterised, among other aspects, by no deformations of its 3D structure, independence of driving and structure, geometry with five support and location of the driving in the outer sides. Thanks to these features, Titan Tracker reports that it “achieves high cost efficiency and optimal performance” in both the photovoltaic, high concentration (CPV) and CSP segments.
