The introduction of a smaller-capacity system allows homeowners to choose a system that best fits their energy needs and budget. Whether for new installations or upgrading existing systems, this addition to Sungrow’s portfolio provides the flexibility to scale energy storage capacity according to individual requirements. This makes it easier for more households to embrace renewable energy solutions, contributing to a more sustainable future.
Moreover, the solution can be easily upgraded by simply adding additional modules, each of them increasing the capacity of the system by 3.2kWh. To make things even simpler, Sungrow designed these modules retaining a low weight (33kg per module), tool-free installation and easy commissioning up to 8 modules and a total capacity of 25.6kWh.
Sungrow’s hybrid PV systems combining a solar inverter and battery storage, offer numerous benefits to households, including energy independence, cost savings and resilience thanks to the backup power function, that essential appliances and systems will continue to operate even in the case of a power outage.
Equally importantly, hybrid systems increase the harvest and utilisation of solar energy, helping to lessen the household's environmental footprint and contribute to global sustainability goals.
