Voltfang's "New Life" system is primarily aimed at customers who want to achieve financial and sustainability benefits using the energy storage system. With rising energy prices, decarbonisation obligations and the need for security of supply and flexibility, the demand for high-performance green energy storage systems is growing considerably.
“With the latest development of our product portfolio, we have proven that high performance can also be sustainable” said David Oudsandji, founder and CEO of Voltfang. “Our goal is to accompany our customers on the path to decarbonisation with disruptive solutions that offer real added value. The introduction of the "New Life" modules will take our storage solutions to a new level and enable our customers to save even more on their energy costs.”
The modules for the New Life battery actually originated from overproduction for the automotive industry - they are completely new and have never been installed before. Instead of destroying the modules and releasing more CO2, Voltfang has incorporated them into high performance batteries.
The net capacity of the "New Life" compared to Voltfang's standard battery has increased from 33 kWh to 45 kWh, giving a gross capacity of 58 kWh and making it particularly suitable for use in charging infrastructure, food retail and commercial applications with high power peaks.
“The "New Life" commercial storage system is an innovation that resulted from close exchange with our partner network and our own internal technical product development” added Afshin Doostdar, CTO of Voltfang. “It demonstrates the commitment to quality by both Voltfang as well as our partner network.”
