The consultancy will advance technical knowledge and offshore wind capabilities in Asia's second-largest offshore wind market. The collaboration with leading Taiwanese stakeholders will promote the exchange of technical information in the areas of offshore wind inspection and verification, safety and risk management and certification, as well as technology innovation.
The MOU was signed by a third party certification team organised by Taiwan's Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, which includes CR Classification Society, Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center, Metal Industries R&D Center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Electronics Testing Center, Taiwan, Taiwan Electric Research and Testing Center, and Taiwan Institute of Economic Research.
“As a trusted technical advisor and independent verifier, ABS Consulting is committed to providing guidance for promoting the safety and reliability of renewable operations in Taiwan as the country expands its wind farm capacity” said Todd W.
