The gathering was held 14-16 October, and drew a large crowd of researchers and business men and women engaged in the testing, manufacturing and designing of wind turbine drivetrains.
The presentation Pablo Ayesa, Director of CENER's Wind Energy department, offered, was entitled "operational experience in the execution of tests on drivetrain benches", and emphasized three points:
CENER has had the Wind Turbine Test Laboratory since 2006, where it operates a high-power drivetrain test bench that is considered to be one of the mostly highly experienced in the world.
By participating in this forum CENER's main objectives to increase its collaboration network to drive technological development in validation and reliability of the powertrain and, to establish new strategic relations with leading companies in the international wind sector.
