The certifications were awarded following a comprehensive audit by Bureau Veritas, conducted across Corio's offices and sites in October and November 2024. This achievement validates Corio's robust management systems for the development, construction and operation of offshore wind assets.
ISO45001 recognizes the company's robust framework for ensuring safe and healthy working environments for employees and contractors, while ISO14001 reflects its proactive approach to minimizing environmental impact and embedding sustainable practices throughout its operations.
In addition, the audit team commended Corio's CORE culture programme, recognizing it as a best-in-class initiative. The program is built around four key behaviors - Collaborate, Own, Respect, and Engage - that guide Corio's employees in taking practical steps to improve health, safety, and wellbeing, while safeguarding the environment and the communities in which the company operates.
“Achieving ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications is a testament to the dedication of our teams worldwide” said Rachel Porto, Head of Health, Safety, Sustainability and Quality (HSSQ) at Corio Generation. “These certifications are about more than formal recognition, they represent our unwavering commitment to meeting and exceeding industry standards in environmental sustainability and occupational health and safety. Together, we will continue to strive for excellence and positively impact our employees, contractors, communities, and the environment.”
