In a written release, Dong Energy said the agreement will enable it to meet demands for its offshore wind farm projects located mainly in the United Kingdom, and partly in Denmark. In all, about 100 contractors are expected to be hired per year through this agreement.
The contract will be effective for sixty months and will include the provision of professionals ranging from client representatives to a wide variety of management positions.
Atlas Professionals said it will be working closely with its subsidiary South West Surveys to deliver competent personnel for all stages of an offshore wind farm.
”This Framework Agreement will further help Atlas enhance its position as a market leader in supplying experienced and qualified personnel to the offshore wind sector," said Laura Smith, Atlas business manager for offshore wind.
"Offshore wind energy has huge potential and I am pleased that our professionals will assist DONG Energy with their UK projects and in turn further increase their aim to successfully develop, construct and operate offshore wind farms in Northern Europe," Smith said.
