The new website includes several new features to accommodate buyers on the platform. These range from an improved search engine to improve usability for buyers and procurement professionals, simplified, pre-filled forms to register and request quotes from suppliers, and an enhanced capability to place a "Search Request" to all suppliers on the platform by category and wind turbine model.
According to the company, these website improvements were borne of a desire to better facilitate relationships between buyers and sellers of wind turbine spare parts for out-of-warranty onshore wind turbines.
In the process, company officials said, the new websites will also better spread the word about repair capabilities for components, new and second hand wind turbines and wind turbines services are offered by suppliers from Europe, USA and India.
Spares in Motion is the independent B2B trading platform. The platform currently consists of thousands of products and services from more than 85 suppliers.
Buyers are able to search, find and get quotations for all offered items without any charge, the company said.
