Enlight is the renewable energy arm of Eurocom Group, one of the largest holding companies in Israel, and is also the leading renewable energy company currently traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
The deal was closed in Ireland, as was announced at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange on July 2015.
Maya Shaltiel, founder and CEO of Maya International Strategic Alliances, which has been working with Enlight for over a year to penetrate the Irish wind market, said, "Ireland's target of electricity production from renewables by 2020 is 40%, with market potential equal to 4000MW, compared to 2000MW of installed capacity today.
"Add this to a very supportive regulation and good wind resources and we have identified Ireland as a highly attractive market in which we tried to get a first footprint," Shaltiel continued. "It is also a very competitive market, and I am very pleased we were able to identify and win a good opportunity and close this deal. Enlight is a very strong player in the global renewable energy market and has a very promising potential in this market. I am looking forward to further fruitful cooperation with Enlight".
The funding is an expected 80 percent debt and 20 percent equity.
