Report: $335 billion-plus to be spent on offshore wind through 2016

The second edition of The World Offshore Operations & Maintenance Market Forecast holds that while the wind sector as a whole was buffeted by the global economic downturn, the operation and maintenance market was considerably less impacted.

The report holds that growth in O&M will be driven by a combination of needing to operate and maintain a vast and aging infrastructure, high oil prices, buoyant new offshore field development activity and rampant price inflation for equipment and services.
